Personal Home Dashboard

Personal Home Dashboard

An home page dashboard for my personal use, where I include every thing i need in “one” page. This is fully built by myself with PHP, MySL, Jquery and some API’s.

Home

In the home page there is an overview of the total content I have plus a widget I created using the API open-meteo so I can get the the current weather and the weather for the next days. The background changes if it’s day or night.

Calendar

An simple embedded Google Calendar.

Analytics

Custom Google Analytics widgets from my websites.

Sites:

This section is where I put some information of the sites I built (they aren’t all there, a lot more to add): Primary color/secondary color, logo, email, link and a description if I need to add more information.

Movies:

This is a database I created with the movies I watched, and the ones I want to watch. I can add my score for each movie I watched (0 to 10). It uses the OMDb API to retrieve data from the movies with the IMDb id: The poster, scores from IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes, Year, Title, etc. I also use YouTube API to retrieve the trailer.

Series:

Almost basically the same as Movies, but with a bit more functions like setting if I’m currently watching the series and which season I’m on.

Links:

This is like a bookmark, I can add my favorite links so I can check them out later.

Colors:

In here I can add my favorite #HEX colors for future projects for example. I can also in “Combine” enter an hex color and it gives me a secondary color that goes along with it.

Tasks:

I don’t use this much, it’s just a Tasks/To Do list, I can set them as priority, done, or delete them.

Notes:

This I use a lot.I can set up notes with information that I’m always needing. Like the VIN numbers of my cars or part numbers for parts, Key code and whatever I want. It has a built in BBCode, built by me with PHP and JavaScript.

News:

This is a news feed of some of my favorite news websites.

Money:

This a money tracker, I can add expenses or gain and track my money. It uses chart.js for the charts/pies.

Others:

This is where I add some random stuff like quotes or the next holidays in my city using an API.
